Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and driven Lead Sales Agent to spearhead EGA’s business development efforts across Kenya. You will be responsible for designing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales agents, nurturing high-value client relationships, and ensuring the consistent growth of our customer base and revenue across the six service clusters. This is a high-impact leadership role for a results-oriented professional passionate about enterprise development and inclusive economic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EGA’s national sales strategy in alignment with organizational goals
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate the Sales Agents team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Identify market trends, client needs, and strategic growth opportunities across all six clusters
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts including SMEs, corporates, development partners, and government agencies
- Support in pricing strategy, bundling of services, and creation of compelling sales offers
- Lead sales reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting using CRM or relevant tools
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure sales efforts are aligned with current offerings and campaigns
- Represent EGA at high-level meetings, pitch forums, trade fairs, and sector events
- Support onboarding, training, and certification of new sales representatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven experience developing and closing B2B/B2G deals in sectors such as consulting, education, finance, agribusiness, or tech
- Deep understanding of the Kenyan business landscape and ecosystem players
- Passionate about enterprise growth, sustainability, and social impact
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance metrics
Compensation
This is a commission-based role, including opportunities for
